Adding a CDN introduces another layer of configuration, potential caching issues with dynamic content, and one more service to manage without delivering perceptible speed gains.

        Similarly, low-traffic sites with small file sizes do not generate enough latency or bandwidth pressure to justify a CDN. The server handles the requests directly without strain, and visitors experience fast load times regardless. Spending effort on image optimisation and browser caching headers delivers more improvement for these sites than adding infrastructure.
